Vietnam
Overview
Vietnam is a country of captivating beauty and rich history, stretching from the misty mountains of the north to the tropical Mekong Delta in the south. Ha Long Bay's thousands of limestone karsts create a dreamlike seascape, while the ancient town of Hoi An enchants with its lantern-lit streets and tailor shops. Ho Chi Minh City pulses with modern energy, and Hanoi's Old Quarter preserves centuries of tradition. Vietnam's street food scene is legendary — from steaming bowls of pho to crispy banh mi.
When to Visit
Vietnam stretches across multiple climate zones, so timing depends on the region:
North Vietnam (October – April)
Cool and dry, ideal for Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, and Sapa trekking. December–February can be chilly in the mountains. September rice terraces turn golden before harvest.
Central & South Vietnam (February – August)
Dry season for Hoi An, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. Beach weather is excellent from Da Nang south. The Mekong Delta is lush and boat-friendly year-round.
Special Events and Festivals
